Waterfalls
Here, we show the sheet falls, similar to what you'll find in Hawaii. This is a great way to incorporate water features into a tropical garden. To continue the flow with the right look and feel, you would want this type of waterfall in your yard. A "boulder falls" would be out of place. Sheet falls give you a lot of water flowing noise and are especially good if trying to cover or mask freeway noise. You can see how even the simple things change the flow of water, a leaf from the plant creates divided water. ~
Both of these water falls are created with the same type of rocks, Sonoma Field Stone, and use the Aquascape Designs System. As you can see, the results are completely different. |
